Jogasaki Coast

Jogasaki Coast was formed by lava that flowed out when Mt. Omuro erupted about 4000 years ago. We recommend taking a stroll along the 9 km long picnic course and the nature research trail. The Kadowaki Suspension Bridge, which is 48m long and about 23m high, is especially breathtaking and thrill-inducing. From the observatory of the Kadowakizaki Lighthouse, you can enjoy a 360 panoramic view featuring the Izu Seven Islands and Amagi mountain range. In addition to the magnificent scenery, you can see cute flowers such as hydrangeas in June, daylilies and Thunberg lilies in July, as well as the Ajania pacifica and camellias in the autumn.
